The Wise Dog character was inspired by my dog ‘Jimmi’. He is the main character you see in most of the drawings, and his presence and persona are seen throughout most of the illustrated scenes.
The two characteristics which you see portrayed throughout the illustrations, are Jimmi ‘the experiencer’, and Wise Dog ‘his true Self’.
Jimmi is the flamboyant, extroverted characteristic of himself. Very much an experiencer of all things and places, participating in experiences of the ‘outer world’.
Wise Dog is the silent, introverted characteristic of himself. He is the explorer of his ‘inner world’. He does not identify with his body and mind.
He is beyond body- mind and the concepts of the outer world. He is the witness…
